il-Habbata il-Pulita - Earrings

These cute habbata are a reminder of our past heritage. We decided to call them,  'il-Habbata il-Pulita' as they resemble the door knockers found on old Maltese doors! But not the house doors or farm doors! these remind us of those habbata (door knockers) you can see whilst walking your way through Mdina. Doors of wealthy families that lived in Malta! We do not see many of these anymore so cherishings such memories is important. These go way before the times when bells were invented... back to the times were we used to keep doors open and everyone knew one another!
